Geelong Veterans & Families Hub – begins trialing Outreach Satellite Sites.
As part of the future development of a purpose-built Geelong Veterans & Families hub at Geelong RSL some local RSL Sub-Branches across the region have volunteered to begin trialing Veteran Outreach Satellite Services for Veteran and Families Wellbeing and Compensation now.
In addition to providing support to veterans and families the satellites will be important in learning and helping inform the future outreach services.
Ocean Grove Barwon Heads RSL Sub-Branch has stepped up and is now operating a “drop in” trial outreach satellite at the Ocean Grove Bowls Club in the Board of Directors Room on the FIRST Wednesday of each month from 9am-1pm.
Feel free to drop in and have an informal chat with welfare and compensation advocates or just a general chat.
Some other RSL Sub-Branches will progressively commence trials on different weeks in the future.
